Premium Self-Adhesive Furniture Felt Pads

Professional-Grade Floor Protection with Advanced Adhesive Technology

Ensure the longevity of your flooring with Keay Vital Parts Self-Adhesive Felt Furniture Pads. Designed as a high-performance alternative to mechanical fixings, these pads offer a streamlined, tool-free installation while providing a robust barrier against scratches, scuffs, and noise.

Engineered for versatility, these pads are fully suitable for timber, metal, and plastic furniture legs. Manufactured from high-density Synthetic Felt, they provide durable, heavy-duty protection designed to withstand the rigours of daily furniture movement. With a flat profile for maximum surface contact, they provide a stable and discreet solution for any interior environment.

Key Benefits and Features

  • Durable Synthetic Felt: Engineered for long-lasting, hard-wearing floor care and excellent wear resistance under heavy use.
  • Universal Compatibility: Specifically formulated to bond securely to wood, plastic, and metal surfaces, making them ideal for modern and traditional furniture alike.
  • Dual Colour Palette: Available in both White and Brown to match a wide variety of furniture finishes, from light oak and painted wood to dark mahogany.
  • Industrial-Strength Adhesive: Features a high-tack, pressure-sensitive backing that ensures long-lasting adhesion across various substrates.
  • Rapid Installation: No drilling or screws required. The simple peel-and-stick design allows for a clean, professional application in seconds.
  • Silent and Smooth Movement: Significantly reduces friction and vibration, allowing chairs, tables, and cabinets to glide quietly across wood, laminate, parquet, and vinyl flooring.
  • Versatile Sizing: Offered in 20mm, 24mm, and 28mm diameters to suit various furniture leg dimensions.

Professional Installation Guide

To ensure the maximum lifespan of the adhesive bond, please follow these instructions carefully.

1. Surface Preparation

Before installation, ensure the base of the furniture feet is completely clean and dry. Use a lint-free cloth or paper towel to remove any dust, dirt, or debris that has accumulated.

  • Degreasing: For the most durable bond, we highly recommend cleaning the surface with Isopropyl Alcohol to remove any grease, wax, or factory finishes.
  • Surface Texture: If the surface is rough or has stubborn debris, gently sand the area until smooth and wipe clean.

Note: This step is vital. A clean, decontaminated surface is required for the adhesive to bond properly to the furniture leg.

2. Prepare the Felt Pad

Carefully peel away the backing paper to expose the adhesive. Avoid touching the adhesive surface with your fingers, as natural oils can significantly reduce the strength of the bond.

3. Application & Compression

Align the felt pad with the centre of the furniture foot. Once positioned, press down firmly and evenly across the entire surface of the pad for approximately 30 seconds. This pressure-sensitive adhesive requires firm force to create a strong bond.

4. Final Testing & Curing

Once all pads are installed, test the movement of the furniture to ensure it glides smoothly and silently. For the best results, we recommend allowing the adhesive to cure for 24 hours before heavy use to ensure the pads remain securely in place.

Protect your investment with a tailored solution. Select the size and colour that best suits your requirements and experience the difference of Keay Vital Parts quality craftsmanship.

Product Guidance & Terms of Use

Fitting & Ongoing Maintenance: Components containing mechanical fixings should be installed using appropriate hand tools and pre-drilled pilot holes to preserve furniture structure. Glides, ferrules, inserts, and feet are consumable wear items designed to absorb friction over time. To ensure continuous protection, users are responsible for periodic inspections, ensuring fixings remain securely seated, removing trapped debris, and replacing components when the wear threshold is reached. Keep small parts away from children and pets.

Limitation of Liability: Keay Vital Parts accepts no liability for secondary damages, including substrate/floor marking, furniture wear or alterations, or physical handling incidents resulting from product wear-through, incorrect sizing, improper installation, overloading, or lack of periodic maintenance. Determining product suitability for specific flooring and furniture substrates rests solely with the end-user.
